Nathaniel Kheysin, MD

Ophthalmologist

Dr. Nathaniel Kheysin is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and comprehensive ophthalmology. He has expertise in both routine and complex cataract surgery, including the use of standard and premium intraocular lenses. Dr. Kheysin also offers a full range of glaucoma care involving laser procedures, minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries, and traditional filtration surgeries such as trabeculectomy and tube shunt implantation.

Dr. Kheysin earned his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University at Buffalo. He then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Stony Brook University, where he served as Chief Resident. 

He subsequently completed a glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University where he subspecialized in medical and surgical management of glaucoma. During fellowship, he was recognized with the Wilmer Fellow Teaching Award for his exceptional skill in teaching surgical techniques and dedication to mentoring future ophthalmologists. 

Dr. Kheysin provides personalized, state-of-the-art treatment, ensuring each patient receives care tailored to their unique needs. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.
